Work description

Trainee will support Maasai Mara University's environmental research and conservation efforts, focusing on ecosystem monitoring, field research and community outreach across the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Mau Forest and Mara River Ecosystem.The intern will be involved in the following:• Participate in field research in Mara River Basin• Assist in mapping and geospatial documentation• Support environmental education and outreach programs• Help in sensitization forums about conservation• Assist in training conservation champions• Contribute to tracking conservation activities• Support documentation of green cover initiatives• Help in tree nursery and propagation efforts• Assist in baseline surveys for Maasai Mara Game Reserve Mau Forest Ecosystem and Mara River Ecosystem Participate in data collection and preliminary research analysis • Help document conservation intervention strategies • Conduct ecological surveys • Support soil testing and biodiversity assessments
