Additional Info

There are going to be only 2 interns in this city during the whole period. The closest LC is an hour from the city and they will be willing to take care of the students during the whole period of the internship. Also they will be part of our summer program every weekend.

Work description

Lab work: Debarking logs and measuring bark beetles galleries, pre-determination of the insects, logs debarking, separating beetles and butterflies from pheromone traps into major systematic groups. Rearing of the insect larvae on artificial soils and measuring growth parameters etc.Field work: set-up and checking of the insect traps, set-up other filed experiments in forests etc.
