HELUZ AKU KOMPAKT 21 sanded for lining non-load-bearing walls consists of two brick shapes connected via mineral wool, which has excellent acoustic properties. Compared to conventional brick materials, HELUZ AKU KOMPAKT 21 sanded has a number of technical improvements, not only does it acoustically insulate (air tightness Rw=57 dB), but also has better thermal insulation properties.

Thanks to the unique construction of the brick block for the internal masonry - two fittings bonded with mineral wool - the equivalent of double construction behaviour is achieved with HELUZ AKU KOMPAKT 21 ground brick. Thus, in addition to excellent sound insulation, there is also a significant reduction in the transmission of construction noise (e.g. elimination of slamming of the door of a hanging cabinet on the masonry). The dividing walls between two flats can be constructed using dry technology with thin-layer PU glue (HELUZ foam) and still achieve better sound insulation performance than the currently offered AKU blocks, with an economical width of only 21 cm. 

The 4 cm less wall thickness compared to the traditional solution saves built-up area and thus allows for a higher usable area within the apartment. As already mentioned, this "slimming of the brick" will be particularly appreciated by apartment building investors. With the HELUZ AKU KOMPAKT 21 honed brick, they will gain more metres of usable area on the same floor plan.

• Thermal insulation properties (no heat leakage)

The thermal insulation properties of the HELUZ AKU KOMPAKT 21 ground brick wall are also significantly better than the traditional AKU brick solution. The 45% better thermal conductivity coefficient and heat transfer coefficient significantly reduces heat leakage from the heated apartment to the "saving neighbour" and to cooler areas (corridors and staircases) and contributes to energy savings for the users of heated apartments.

Possibilities to use only on non-load bearing walls.

The technology of single-layer masonry construction made of clay blocks must be taken into account from the initial planning stage of the project, so that all the principles of correct design - designing in a module, observing the required clearances of building openings and room clearances - are simply observed.
