Ring road of Brno

Idea projektu

EN This proposal is about a certain urban vision, i.e. how the Ring road of Brno could be used differently. Since nowadays the ring road is more of a barrier between the inner city centre and its surrounding parts, my task was to propose a solution to this problem and somehow bring life to this space. SK Pri tomto návrhu ide o určitú urbanistickú víziu, teda ako by mohla byť inak využitá Brnenská okružná trieda. Keďže v súčasnosti tvorí tento okruh skôr bariéru medzi vnútorným centrom mesta a jeho okrajovými časťami, mojou úlohou bolo navrhnúť riešenie tohto problému a nejakým spôsobom priniesť život do tohto priestoru.

Popis projektu

EN I approached the individual islands with their existing limits and values in the area sensitively and tried to emphasize their historical value as much as possible. These were mainly the Janáček Theatre and the space in front of it, the Brno House of Arts or Zeman's Café. Another idea of the proposition was to complete the missing buildings, especially at Moravské náměstí, and to create a new square there, which would be clearly defined by the new buildings. I continued with such buildings to the south east to Zeman's café. These buildings are composed mostly as apartments, but I also designed solitaires of office buildings. All the buildings are five-storeys high to be adequate to the existing urban landscape. However, I have designed one specific landmark at Moravské náměstí, i.e. a concert hall, which can be seen at the end of the axis from Rašín Street. SK K jednotlivým ostrovom s už stávajúcimi limitami a hodnotami v území som pristupoval citlivo a snažil sa ich historickú hodnotu v najväčšej možnej miere podčiarknuť. Išlo teda hlavne o Janáčkovo divadlo a priestor pred ním, Dom umenia mesta Brna alebo Zemanovu kaviareň. Ďalšou myšlienkou návrhu bolo dotvoriť chýbajúcu zástavbu, hlavne na Moravskom námestí a vytvoriť tam nové ohraničené námestie. Zástavbou som pokračoval až po Zemanovu kaviareň. V týchto päťpodlažných stavbách prevažuje funkcia obytná, ale navrhol som aj solitéry administratívnych budov. Všetky budovy sú päťpodlažné, aby pôsobili adekvátne k stávajúcej zástavbe. Avšak na Moravskom námestí som navrhol jednu špecifickú dominantu v podobe koncertnej haly. ktorá stojí na konci pohľadovej osi z Rašínovej ulice.

Technické informácie

EN Since this project is more of a proposal on a large scale, I haven't gone into much detailed drawings. However, the idea of construction was to use reinforced concrete with columns on the ground floor to free the space for the stores. I proposed underground parking under the most frequented places in the project to accomodate the inhabitants as well as the visitors of the concert hall and the stores. SK Keďže tento projekt je skôr návrhom v širšom kontexte, čo sa týka výkresov, nešiel som do príliš veľkého detailu. Avšak, myšlienkou konštrukcie bolo použitie železobetónu so stĺpmi na prízemí s cieľom maximálne uvoľniť priestory pre obchody. Navrhol som podzemné garáže pod najviac navštevovanými budovami, ktoré môžu prijímať ako obyvateľov budovy, tak aj návštevníkov koncertnej haly a obchodov.
