Idea projektu

The design aims not only to preserve the historical character of the site but also to create an environment where visitors can fully appreciate and understand the historical significance of the museum. The interior connection includes a reception area, lockers, and restrooms for museum visitors. An important feature is the terrace with a view of the former "appelplatz," which provides visitors with a strong emotional experience. The goal of the design is not only to preserve the historical character of the site but also to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for visitors, allowing them to fully perceive and understand the historical significance of this place.

Popis projektu

An architectural feature connecting historical buildings to create spacious and aesthetically appealing connectivity. The objective of our project is to create a covered link between preserved historical buildings that serve as a museum exhibition. This project includes interior facilities necessary for visitor comfort and safety, such as reception, lockers, and restrooms. Establishing a terrace with a view of the former "apelplatz," allowing visitors to experience a strong emotional connection and providing a unique perspective of the historical site.

Technické informácie

The floor features a 2 mm concrete plaster finish over a primer. Beneath this, there’s a 60 mm self-leveling screed with 20 mm underfloor heating, a 0.15 mm PE foil, and 100 mm of XPS insulation. The structure includes waterproofing with aluminum foil, a 250 mm reinforced concrete slab, a 50 mm concrete layer, and a 150 mm compacted gravel bed. The atrium has a 2 mm concrete plaster finish over a primer, supported by 200 mm of plain concrete on a 150 mm compacted gravel bed. The terrace includes a 2 mm exterior concrete plaster finish over a primer, with a 60 mm reinforced concrete screed, drainage mat, bituminous waterproofing, 240 mm of EPS insulation, and a vapor barrier. It also has a sloped lightweight concrete layer on a 200 mm reinforced concrete slab. Internal walls are built with 150 mm aerated concrete blocks and finished with smooth plaster and a smoothing coat on both sides.
