Dear Riya Kumari. Shweta Kashyap and Vrinda Singhal,
First of all, congratulations on your proposal submission. I enjoyed going through each and every slide of the submission and enjoyed the studies and effort that went through the making of this proposal. The fundamental parti of the proposal was tackled strategically from the very beginning and the idea of a socially inclusive urban built environment was also approached in a responsible manner. If I could suggest, is to look beyond the boundaries of the site, and extend the network to the existing surrounding public spaces (even beyond the Deer Park and Hauz Khas. This is especially when surrounded by major roads that have the tendencies to isolate plots from each other. This may also be seen in methods of multiplied grounds, where the parks doesn’t necessarily become introverted and laid on the ground level, but it can penetrate into elevated parks as part of the buildings surrounding it. Another aspect that I would suggest is the characterization of the perimeter buildings in terms of interfacing. This may create a psychological segmentation of the huge park into digestible public spaces by characters, that would also psychologically create sense of ownerships to the parks whilst giving a sense of public navigation within the development. That being said, congratulations again, I wish you guys the best for all of you!
